Satisfied Saturday

My work:
So today was my "big" dress rehearsal for my Children's Choir Christmas Pageant. After the disasters on Wed, including not even making it to the end of the play, I was a little apprehensive as to what would happen. And....it totally ROCKED!! I was so excited =) I am so proud of my kids! They have worked sooo hard. My volunteers have worked & stressed even harder. And I have poured myself into this thing over the past month. But seeing it all come together is just beautiful. The past 2 years, I have been teaching preschool music & Spanish, which means 2 additional programs to direct & teach, and it was soo tough. I am so thankful I minimized my interests this year because I have NOT been over-worked. My house has NOT completely fallen apart. I have NOT lost any sleep because of a mind that won't turn off, thinking of all the untied ends. I just LOVE my job! It IS stressful this time of year...but I have been so peaceful, pleasant, and positive this year. I feel soo blessed! I can't wait till tomorrow night for the BIG PERFORMANCE! Hopefully one day soon I will have some pics to share with you.

Still hating not being able to post any photos =(

Baby update:
I am feeling Mr. Isaac move & stretch like crazy. He's going to be so strong when he gets here! We've only got about 10 weeks till D-day. (due day). I can't believe he could potentially triple in size!

Stinker-mess:
We went & got Neena a live Christmas tree for her bedroom today. She was a crab almost the entire day, which is really not like her. She is normally a happy, strong-willed child. Today, crabby strong-willed child; bad combination. She continued to show me she just didn't like me. I don't take it personally; not at this age. Sometimes when it's against me & FOR Chad I do; but he spoils her & I can't afford for BOTH of us to spoil her!! She told me I wasn't pretty. She told me she didn't want to take pictures with me. She didn't want to sit by me. She wouldn't smile when I was taking her picture. It was unreal. I felt like I had a taste of her teen years...scary. I need to be praying about this!! Yesterday we went & got her hair cut. It's to her chin & lightly stacked in the back. She looks sooo cute! She just hates for me to put it up & loves wearing head bands, which works really well for this cut. I miss the long hair but this really makes more sense & it really is adorable!

Neena sings:
Tomorrow night with her choir before my choir's performance. She knows the songs & did really well at practice tonight. The only problem is, during Silent Night, she keeps singing, "Sleep in Heavenly pee-ee. Slee-ep in Heavenly pee." Trying to redirect things that crack you up just isn't easy. Once she knows it's funny, she'll just turn up the volume rather than change the word!!
