Wishing for pictures

I had started to entitle this: Lots of Pictures until I plugged in my cord & realized that iphoto has been deleted from my computer. So, alas, I will continue to look like the uninvolved parent blogger. Sad.

But I do have random news to share. I'll do it quickly.

• I made a really great Mexican casserole yesterday without using a recipe. Ok, I did kind of combine a recipe I've done before & one someone mentioned...but it was still my creation.
• Chad ordered a work-out program on ebay. Now he has to be accountable to all of you to get in shape :) Probably has something to do with the fact that he gained almost as much as me during my first pregnancy. We're talking nearly 30 yrs old, people. He's feeling the pressure.
• Neena got up & didn't come in our room screaming, "GET UP!" like she has done every day this week. Instead, she got up & opened all the blinds in the living room for me--my daily first task. She is so learning about service. This is why people say, "3's are awful; 4's are sweet." I really hope this trend continues.
• Chad is still working way too much. But he is so joyful about our youth group & church & is seeking the Lord with renewed passion.
  
• My messy tendencies are improving. And believe me, it's because I'm working unbelievably hard at it.
  
• I get to play with the band (elsewhere) this Saturday!! I am excited about every last chance to play before I get too big to hold the bass. We have a new bassist scheduled to play starting in Nov at church. If you want to see something funny, come to church at the end of October to see me stretching the thing around my side to keep the weight off the baby!!
  
• The baby is moving lots. I love it. Still small movements, so it's hard for anyone else to catch them but Chad got to feel her once already :) We have a name in the works.
  
• ...I say "in the works" but with Neena, once we had her name in our heads we never even considered another, so I think that may happen again. When it's for sure, I'll let you know because, really, do I keep secrets???
  
• Oh, & I got her a crib set & all the accessories today!! Thank you Lord!! And craigslist!! (Again, wish I could post pics!)
• I hear that my brother is doing well on his job in Iraq & his wife is still an amazing jewel, toughing it through her masters with no family down in FL. I miss them both so much! *Cough-Iwishyoubothwouldblog-cough-cough*

That's all for tonight. I feel so loved & blessed. Aaugh! The baby is moving all over the place & Chad is feeling it :) Pregnancy is sooo much fun!! Thank you, Lord.
