Loopy Day

Chad & the boys & I lead worship at the HS this morning. We got there at 5:45 AM. And last night we were out getting gas at nearly 11:00. This whole gas thing is CRAZINESS!! I called 20 gas stations in pursuit last night before getting a tip from a friend on a place that they quoted was 10 minutes away from running dry when we were leaving. Wow. It is kind of exciting in an if-the-world-falls-apart-and-we-all-have-to-take-care-of-each-other/fight-for-our-needs-with-the-crazy/selfish-people kind of way. The guy next to me said he was filling his 3rd car. The one he never drives. Because he doesn't need to. The one that holds 30 gallons. He needs to go back to kindergarten & learn to share.

So anyways, I was telling you about that to say I didn't get much sleep. And so after I picked up Neena this morning & she asked to go to the park on the way home, I thought, "this is a good bargaining tool for me to use for a nap later" & agreed to go. Then, I kid you not, I had to turn around THREE times to get there. Did I mention this park is less than a mile from my house & I have been there at least 331 times??? It's pretty bad when your 4-yr old has to give you directions.

But to top it all off....

I got home & Neena points out, "MOMMA, YOU DIDN'T PUT MY SEAT BELT ON!!!"

(Note to self: don't let Christie watch children on less than 8 hrs sleep.)

And on another note, I had to hold my bass to my side slightly this morning b/c it was mashing my belly :) AND someone asked me if I was pregnant 2 days ago--pregnancy is so much fun!!
