Things are a blast & totally crazy at our house lately. I think of soo many things I want to blog about but never do b/c I am waiting on a serious story to tell but don't have time for it, so for now, I'm just putting it off so as to blog about the day-to-day stuff :)
We've been at the Dr's office more than I could have ever imagined the last month! Isaac's first month of weekly visits looked like this:
We've been at the Dr's office more than I could have ever imagined the last month! Isaac's first month of weekly visits looked like this:
- check-up
- jaundice follow-up
- thrush
- loose stool
- month check-up
Then 2 weeks later Neena had a urinary tract infection, followed by a 1-wk follow-up which luckily coupled with her already-scheduled check-up. Isaac is supposed to go back again next week for another stool check round but I think I'm going to cancel it b/c I'm going to take him to a homeopathic Dr instead. That'll be Mon afternoon; can't wait to get the results!

In other news, we FINALLY had our lawn mowed for the first time this spring. Oh, it feels so good. We also managed to do a little lawn work ourselves. UNFORTUNATELY, however...my husband needs some yard-work lessons. I swear, Jane, didn't you teach him better than this??? Dang if I didn't give him the weed spray & leave him alone to kill almost all of my plants!!! The pansies at my mail box are all dead. 2 hostas dead. Unknown name groundcover: dead. Even a new plant still in a pot got a bit of spray. Oh well. I can plant some more & at least the weeds will die (I hope).

Yesterday we went to a fire station to bring the fire fighters some cookies. Neena is obsessd :) She even loves "Fireproof" the movie. One of our friends from church is a paramedic at the Woodstock FD, so we went & saw him there. He did a great job showing us around & then got a call, so we got to see him suit up & leave. I recommend taking a trip if you've never been; Chad & I thoroughly enjoyed it as well! (She just told me she wants to go see them again, lol...I may have started something!!)

Chad quit his extra job yesterday! In 2 weeks he will officially be in full-time ministry :) He is so excited! Me too :) We will be adjusting financially to the change but we know God will provide. We are sooo excited to see how his ministry will respond now that he can put 100% into it; not to mention having TWO days off each week! It's been years since he's had 2 days off; I can't even imagine what it will be like but I am soo pumped about it.

Now...let me find a few cute pictures to share with you. Don't have a recent photo b/c no photo program on my computer :( but my sweet sister-in-law gave me some by CD, so I have a few! And boy, is my sweet boy a cutie!! His smile is just gorgeous! He's gettin' little leg rolls & a double-chin :) Praise God for a healthy growing child!!!
