It's a GIRL!!!

You all know that I've been praying for a boy so now we're all wondering if Chad & I are sad. The cool thing is...nope. There are lots of reasons that another girl just seems perfect. And it's also super helpful that we trust God to give us whatever the perfect fit is--both for child & for us. I really wanted a boy for Chad--so that he'd get to be a daddy to a boy--but he sure is good with girls :) And I'm so excited that they get to be sisters. I didn't have one growing up (it's great having sisters-in-law now) & I always wanted one. Now I can be a mom to sisters, which seems almost as good as getting to have a real sister. Most of all, it seems so wonderful to have gotten to see her little self in there, kicking her feet & moving her hands. We've got the cute little skeletal pics & lots of video, which I will try to learn how to do something with so I can put pieces of on here for you all to see.

Yesterday was Neena's 4th Birthday Party!! :o) And it was oh, so fabulous. We had planned for a pool & rented inflatable jumpy-thing for the party & then had to prepare for an indoor, rainy day party...then low & behold, the sun came out, clouds disappeared, & we had the most beautiful weather for the original plans!! That child was as excited as I've ever seen her; the day was just perfect.

We've got to get packed for Alabama; more about that later & pics to come.
